MYOB is an iconic Australian tech company servicing over 1.2M businesses across Australia and New Zealand. They’ve been leaders in digital accounting software and tools since the 1980’s. In response to a challenger brand in market, and to better align with their progressive culture, MYOB needed to rethink how their brand was perceived and make a significant change.

Our approach was twofold. Create a brand that brings to life MYOB’s vision of ‘making business life easier’, and distil the complexity of MYOB’s products into a simple, compelling offering for customers.

We created the powerful statement ‘Simplify Success’, inspired by the philosophy of ‘helping businesses succeed’, while the original logo was transformed into a distinctive custom wordmark, giving the business greater dynamic and competitive presence.

The existing MYOB purple was extended to include a vivid gradient, retaining the significant brand equity as well as injecting the visual language with a dose of playfulness.

The MYOB rebrand was rolled out across multiple touchpoints and channels – from a new website, digital products, marketing and environments, to packaging, printed comms and even a physical launch into space. MYOB is continuing to empower and connect with businesses – big and small – with their brand still a stand out in market some 7 years after it was first launched.
