Time for Change

Derringer has won the pitch to re-brand MYOB! We’ll be creating a new logo, refreshed brand positioning and helping MYOB develop their visual identity across all channels in Australia and New Zealand going forward.

In 2015 MYOB was awarded the Most Innovative Large Company award by BRW for the creation of “smart bills”, a powerful feature that allows SME customers to save even more time doing their books. After getting to know the business and developing a better understanding of their vision and culture it became evident to us that this kind of accolade is typical of MYOB. Their product offering and customer service within the accounting software sector is unprecedented in the local market for any level of business. There is however, a perceived disconnect with the calibre of MYOB products and the vibrancy of their internal culture compared to the perception of the brand externally. This is partly due to the visual identity remaining reasonably unchanged for many years while the market and competition around them evolved considerably. Clearly not an accurate representation of the true nature of this progressive company so what better time for change.

Derringer is now working closely with the MYOB team to find a new visual voice, developing a refreshed brand perspective and creating a long awaited sense of rejuvenation both externally and internally for this iconic company. Very exciting times ahead and we can't wait to see the difference this will make to the brand.
